How to Change ProDoc Default Save-To Location

The ProDoc document assembly system designates a default path to save all newly generated documents.  However, ProDoc also allows each user to designate a custom path to where ProDoc will save generated documents.  When a user changes their default save-to path, the change affects only that user - all other ProDoc users' default save-to path will be unaffected.  

If they discover that ProDoc save-as function is “defaulting” to a non-preferred location, or they simply want to update their profile's default location, the change can be made easily as follows:

 

1)      Open ProDoc with their assigned ProDoc user account

2)      Click the Customize menu

3)      Click the Options Sub-Menu

4)      From the Options and Settings dialog that opens, click Completed Documents

5)      Enter the desired/correct path in the “Folder” text field

6)      Click OK, close ProDoc and then reopen with assigned username
